Skiing: We love it!!
Both Heather and I grew up skiing and love to go skiing. I usually ski 25 to 30 times a year. In case you wonder, no I never get tired of it!!
We always bring Al and Grace who don't ski, but will play in the snow if it is no more than 3 inches deep, as long as it is not too windy or cold. When we ski, we leave the dogs in the car in their beds which have inserted in them a heating disc which has been microwaved. The disc is the size of a frizbee and will still be warm 12 hours after it was heated. They are totally comfortable in their heated nests, which are usually covered by one or two blankets. They lay in their beds waiting for our return, with their heads partially exposed . Their ski day is usually broken up by a lunch served in the car, then a potty break, and then back to the hard work of guarding the car, and enjoying the warmth and quiet of their beds.
