Al is Iggy of the Month for June 2004

Iggy Planet has a monthly contest for the best photo of an IG.  I liked this picture so I entered this photo of Al doing Agility on a very rainy and wet weekend in Graham, Wa.  in late May.  It must have impressed a lot of people as the members voted his photo the Iggy of the Month. 

It was raining hard, the chute was so wet that the dogs couldn't push their way through it because it stuck together, so the Judge allowed someone to hold it partially open.  I can't believe that Al even ran, and then he did the chute and shook off as soon as he came out.  He looked like he had been swimming when he finished his run!  I don't think I'll ask him to do this again for a long time, as I believe he'll only do this for me 2 or 3 times more in our whole life together.  I had better use those times judiciously!! 

This is another picture of Al on the same run.  I think he thinks that if he keeps his eyes closed that he somehow won't get as wet!!
