50 Plus MPH Winds Flatten the Hurricane Ridge Agility Trial
The night of Sept 29 2007 was a windy one, which caught a lot of people unprepared. Steady winds of over 40 miles per hour and gusts over 50 and approaching 60, rocked the trial site, flattening everything, including the fencing around the rings.
Al, Gracie, Simon and I spent the night in a small but sturdy tent, and we were the only non RV shelter that was left standing after the night.
This is video that Helen King sent me that shows the damage. Viewed from their 50,000 lb. 45 foot motor home!
