Pheobe's Photo Album

Pheobe is an immature African Grey Parrot that we baby-sit on weekends when Heather's employer is in Vancouver.  She is very sweet.  Loves classical music and can imitate  a microwave, various telephones, and apparently has learned to bark like Al.    She is learning how to whistle and spontaneously begins to whistle "La Cuca Racha" when she feels good.  She is also very good at the shell game as she literally keeps her eye (one eye only) directly over the shell with the treat, and picks the right one every time.  It's a dizzying experience to watch her weaving and bobbing to keep her eye over the shell with the treat.
